Keeping Hyderabad Clean and Healthy

In 2014, Team Bakreid, Unit of Team NGOs India, joined forces with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and the local police to launch a cleanliness initiative in Hyderabad on the occasion of Eid. The aim was to promote environmental awareness and ensure a clean and healthy city during the festival.

Key Activities:

Awareness Campaigns: Team Bakreid conducted extensive awareness campaigns among the local community, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness and hygiene during Eid celebrations.
Waste Collection and Disposal: The organization provided volunteers and resources to support the GHMC in collecting and disposing of waste generated during the festival.
Distribution of Plastic Bags: To minimize littering, Team Bakreid distributed plastic bags to residents for proper waste disposal.
